Description
Silver Topped Gimlet is a small to medium tree growing to 10m, native to the Goldfields of WA. It has smooth, shiny greyish-green bark that turns coppery to red-brown, and aromatic, lance-shaped leaves. It produces white flower clusters. Highly hardy and low-maintenance for arid conditions, it suits hard red clays, clay loams, and gravelly sandy soils. Prefers seasonally damp flats but is well suited to hot, semi-arid, extremely drought-tolerant sites.
